Sky Burgers
Overwhelmed With Excitement During and After

I have lived in Burlington for years, and I am mixed with sadness as to have not discovered the brilliance of Sky Burgers sooner yet happiness to know I finally have. I was consistently overwhelmed throughout the evening. After grabbing a Tootsie Roll on my walk in, my boyfriend and I sat down for what was going to be a truly heavenly experience. First, we ordered the corn on the cob special being offered. It was cooked to perfection with amazing seasoning and topped with pico de gallo. I was astonished how amazing it was, and repeatedly said to my boyfriend, I could order 10 more of these. If you think I'm using a minor case of hyperbole, you're wrong. I could've eaten 10 more of those. Then, as we turned our heads around the room to read the witty comments around the walls of the restaurant, we smiled at each other, pleased to have discovered this hidden Burlington gem, already eager to return and the main course hadn't even arrived. When Romi came to take our order, she was so pleasant and patient with our indecisiveness. We were too happy to make decisions over our side choice options. I ultimately decided on the House fries (waffle fries with garlic and Asiago cheese) with my Thai black bean burger. I laughed and commented, "Who orders coleslaw?" when my boyfriend chose the side with his corned beef burger, reaming with excitement because it comes with an egg on top. When the food arrived, we were glowing with excitement. We were so overwhelmed with happy emotions we couldn't stop smiling and eating at the same time. The fries were absolutely amazing, but even better was the coleslaw, which quickly was moved to my side of the table! The burgers were phenomenal; we loved the soft bun. Everything was so perfect, we felt so satisfied. The combination of taste in each bite was out of this world; the sky is certainly not the limit! Thanks again to the chef, we look forward to our next experience. And moreover, I look forward to sharing my first experience with friends so they can discover the wonder themselves!
