Suprisinglhy poor food and service: Reviewed by MichaelS on July 4, 2012; We have been going to the Tavern for years even during the time while it was shifting from the CulinaryInstitute to a private company. Generally the food has been fine with good service. We have really liked the changes that have occurred over the past year or so. Today however, we were surprised by both the poor quality of the food and service. DON'T get the Bento Box with seared Ahi Tuna. My wife's tuna was the consistency of paste and inedible. The other foods in the box were basically bland and tasteless. This was not worth the price of $17. Today, our server was quite air-headed.
