Snaps Café
Unsatisfactory
Reviewed by Frazzie on August 30, 2010
I have eaten at Snaps multiple times including lunch a couple days ago. Nearly every time I have been, I have not had a great experience. Service is usually slow and neglectful. The food is mediocre at best. I also think their ventilation system needs some work because I walked out of there the other day feeling like I needed to take a shower because of the horrendous grease smell. Quick word of advice to potential diners: do not add the sweet potato fries to a sandwich. It is $2 extra and not worth it at all for the small amount they give you.

Jackson's on the River
Not as good as Woody's!
Reviewed by Frazzie on July 6, 2010
But nothing has ever compared--not even Tully and Marie's. I went to Jackson's for lunch on a Saturday, ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and found it to be undercooked. The waitress promptly whisked it away once I told her and the kitchen staff cooked a new one. She also took it off the bill, which was nice. BUT the experience was still a little disappointing. I also found the food to be a bit bland. Despite this, I look forward to going back to try the curried chicken salad.
