Beansies
Too greasy

The fries were too greasy for me. I do enjoy grease so it was a bit much of over the top for me not to enjoy. I also like hotdogs grilled not steamed and well done. For the cost it is somewhat excessive. However, eating from Beansies is a Burlington thing.

I had a seafood dish and the seafood tasted the freshest I have had in Vermont. The soup broth was good and rich the way wonton soup should taste. I love the place and will be back again.

I love the communty feel in the dining room, the wait in line to order and the menu. I had the Crepe Hollandaise for breakfast and it was fabulous. I will be back to try everything I can. I think it is a great location, and a nice unpretentious restaurant. Crepes are easity enough for two people and I plan to get a dessert there soon. The dining scene in Burlington is getting better with less pretense and more honest good food. I can't wait to try the strawberry shortcake crepe. It looks delicious and so does the apple crisp. Great time and great place on the waterfront way.

casual decor. I was very comfortable and the chicken and cole slaw were very good and very reasonable in price. It is good to have a chicken place that is affordable and good. The chicken was the best I have ever had out, although at home I cook a good chicken. I will be returning as the cole slaw is cruncy and tasty perhaps the best around this town. I like low key places and affordable menu items. I This place rocks my boat.

great beginnings of a nice Jewish Deli

I have been waiting for years and years to get a decent pastrami sandwich in Vermont. Well, it is here and it is good. The Mushroom Barley soup is good too much more flavor than I can make and just the thought of Matza ball soup when I need it makes me happier in my native state of Vermont. I only ate a sandwich and soup but I plan on returning in the near future for more. The owner says in three weeks there will be tongue sandwiches and I will be back for that. We have needed a deli in Burlington for years. Hopefully this is the beginning and it will grow into a full meat and fish deli just like in NYC. We need it, there are enough chinese and Italian places now we have a Jewish Deli with creme soda and soon to be knishes. Yes. Yes, Yes.
