Buffet was unforgivably bad: Reviewed by ilikelunch on July 4, 2007; My husband and I have frequently had slices in the back and dinners in the front, and have enjoyed Positive Pie in the past. Today we tried their lunch buffet. Big mistake. It was AWFUL. Not only was the food tired nigh unto death -- to be fair, a common problem with buffets of any kind -- but I suspect it wasn't that good even when fresh. The pizza combinations offered were either uninspiring or downright weird. The pasta with pesto was gummy and greasy. And the lasagna was revolting: thick, bloated, flavorless noodles layered with some...strange...meat, neither ground meat nor sausage but something that my husband suggested might be pork chops. I like Positive Pie's pizza well enough, but overall I've been more impressed with Girasole since they opened. As for the lunch buffet, Girasole's is FAR superior. If you find yourself hungry for pizza at lunchtime in Montpelier, do yourself a favor and cross the bridge.; read more about this restaurant
