My wife enjoys the salad which you can get with grilled chicken. But the best thing about this place? You can let the kids run around while you sit, chat with your spouse, and sip on a beer or wine, knowing that your kids are having fun while not bothering other diners. Works for Us: Reviewed by caberg on September 7, 2010; Depite that the food is just OK, we go back to this place time and again. It works really well for my wife, our little boy and me to grab a quick meal here, and of course I love the big 22ozers of switchback. Service is always excellent. Very nice "feel" to the place, too. For someone who likes typical pub fare, I'm sure the food is great. We'd like a few more healthy options--too much fried stuff and we've had the salads way too many times. But, we'll keep going back because it's predictable and we always know what we're going to get.; read more about this restaurant

Nice "regular" place: Reviewed by caberg on July 22, 2009; My wife and I love going to the Ground Round. We hit it up usually once a week. I love the big beers and they often have a good beer special. The staff is awesome, quick, courteous--no complaints there. The menu is OK. There's too much fried/junk/fatty stuff on there for us. Luckily, their salads are good and I sometimes get a veggie burger or a chicken burger to mix it up.
