This complete hole-in-the-wall restaurant cooks up AMAZING food! The portions are big and every dish is made fresh. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

So glad it's here!

My husband and I had been disappointed with our options for decent semi-healthy food in the NNE. We're so glad Bamboo Hut is here and have never had less than great food and service. We always start with the spring rolls which are packed with fresh basil. I'm a Pho junkie, and theirs is the best I've had in the greater Btown area- it's not over-salted and the veggies are always incredibly fresh. My husband almost always gets their Pad Thai, which is perfectly spicy and less sticky sweet than some. I'd definitely recommend it as a takeout spot as there isn't much of a sit-down ambiance to speak of, but can't recommend it enough. It's a true example of "don't judge a book by its cover". Also- the service is super friendly.

So Good

Great takeout option for NNE and north part of ONE residents. My husband and I love this place. The Burmese Noodles and the Spring rolls are our favorite. The green curry is also good and all portions are big enough to share. If you go, don't miss the Vietnamese coffee and/or the mango sticky rice for a dessert.

Delicious food, but feels like a takeout place

I've tried many asian restaurants. This one had great quality food, and a huge variety of menu options. The environment was more like a takeout place, but it was pleasant enough.

a welcome addition to the NNE.

foodies in the NNE know that our dining options are limited. so the recent return of a vietnamese/thai option in the neighborhood has me particularly excited. the food is served fresh and hot. while wait times may be longer than one would expect, a little planning up front is well worth the effort. don't miss the pad thai and the vietnamese egg rolls. the curries and stir frys are also tasty. all in all, i couldn't be more excited that we've finally got a delicious vietnamese and thai restaurant on this end of town.
