» BITE CLUB EVENT: 'CUE FEST AT NECTAR'S

What's "Bite Club?"
Bite Club is a way for Vermont foodies to meet — and eat — at some of the area's best restaurants.
Bite Club members receive invitations to exclusive events, plus a weekly e-newsletter packed with juicy tidbits — before you can read 'em in the paper.
What's the newsletter about?
Every Tuesday afternoon, Bite Club members get a sneak preview of Seven Days' hottest food stories. We also have web-only treats like mini reviews, food videos, a restaurant "comment of the week" and invitations to special events.
What's a "Taste Test?"
It's an event open exclusively to Bite Club members. Read more about past "Taste Tests" below.
What other food stuff does Seven Days offer?
Lots! Our online food forum allows eaters to discuss everything from local restaurants to favorite foodie films to gardening. We also print the magazine, 7 Nights Guide to Vermont Restaurants & Bars. And we host Vermont Restaurant Week, an annual eating extravaganza that showcases the best fare our state has to offer.
How do I join the Bite Club?
It's easy — just register as a user on this website. Make sure to select "yes" next to "Bite Club Member". When we send out our next newsletter, you'll be on the list.
If you already have an account on 7 Nights but don't receive our weekly e-mail, you'll need to change your account settings. Just click on "My Account" near the top of the screen. Click "yes" next to "Bite Club Member" and you're done!

The battered and deep-fried pickle slices were an unusual treat. What was for dessert? Slices of creamy cheesecake and miniature pies in maple pecan, maple buttermilk and chocolate "mud season."

At our 7 Nights Bite Club event at the LCC factory on Pine Street, 40 enthusiastic guests got to learn about how chocolate is made as well as how to describe the aromas and flavors experienced while tasting this "food of the gods." The lucky attendees got to practice their new skills while sampling the company's forthcoming line of organic truffles, which nobody outside of the company had ever tried before.
